Our story
Plumbing, the long way.
Owen Plumbing & Drain opened in 1976 on a single truck and a handshake. Fifty years later we’re still answering the phone in Corpus Christi — same family, same community, same standard.
We picked plumbing because it’s steady work for people we know. Neighbors, restaurants, contractors, and the homes our kids grew up next to. That’s why we run written estimates, clean job sites, and a real tech on call after hours — not because it’s a slogan, but because it’s how we want to be treated.
Today the second and third generation share the truck keys. The license number on the door — Master Lic. M8552 — is the same one that’s been there since the start.

- Do you give written estimates before you start?
- Always. We diagnose, write the price, and only run equipment with your sign-off. No surprise charges after we start.
- What areas do you serve?
- Corpus Christi, Portland, Rockport, Aransas Pass, Robstown, Kingsville, Ingleside, and the rest of the Coastal Bend.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes — Texas Master Plumber license M8552 and full liability and workers' comp insurance.
- Do you really answer 24/7?
- Yes. A real Owen tech is on call every night and every weekend for true emergencies — burst pipes, sewage backups, and no-water calls.
- Can you handle a full repipe or just patch jobs?
- Both. We patch single leaks and run whole-home PEX or copper repipes — drywall patched, permit pulled, inspected.
- Will I pay extra for after-hours service?
- After-hours has a dispatch fee that we'll quote on the call before we leave the shop. The hourly rate is the same as daytime.
